My hoop fitness / hoop dance class is a fun, creative and structured class where you can burn 400+ calories an hour while having a blast! Hooping increases core strength, balance, coordination and overall flexibility through exercise using adult size hula hoops. Hoops will be provided! Even if you haven’t ever used a hula hoop or haven’t hooped in many years, you CAN be successful in class and you’ll find my classes to be focused on fun and fitness in a non-stressful environment! Please come join us beachside.

About the Instructor
Hi, my name is Kimberly and I will be your hula hoop dance instructor if you come to one of my classes! I started hula hooping in 2017 at 48 years old. I took a class and immediately fell in love with hula hooping and hoop dance. It’s a creative and fun art form. Hula hooping as an adult requires different equipment than you will find at your local stores. I handcraft all of my hoops for my classes and they are suitable for adults of any size and shape. Some of them are weighted and some of them are not. They are provided for you during class but I also sell hoops to students who would like to have extra practice at home. My classes are taught on the beach (March through October) around sunset and they are structured but are very casual, laid-back and fun. All ages are welcome and especially beginners of all ages. Hoop dance is good for core strength / postural control, balance endurance and cardiovascular health. It’s good for your body and soul. Come give it a try.
